Taking the knowledge I've attained through my work in Media Graphics, I went ahead and created a Soundslides project for a Carhartt assignment I had to do in another class. To me the best part about taking a course in Media Graphics is that I can transfer all of these new skills and apply them in other elements of my design life. For this assignment specifically I took a whole new spin on the classic American blue-collar brand, Carhartt. Instead of the traditional look, I turned it into Carhartt X streetwear. This Soundslides project identifies my target consumer for this new Carhartt X line as youthful, extreme, and individualistic, which should be shown through the images and the upbeat song by Twisted Sister.
